You Were Still There ...
When I walked away
YOU never said 'you betrayed'
Holding someone else's hand
Leaving the One , who did so much for me behind.

It is as if the way of the world
Sweet memories go sour untold.
I groped in dark to find someone near ,
But the best I had was left in the rear .

Felt lonely,
Cried bitterly.
Returned to you asking 'where art Thou'
Soft whisper came 'My friend beside thee I am now'

Why the world is such
Was my query
'You have to understand much
So you must not hurry'

Then too what should I do ?

Young Friend !
Do a golden deed
By helping those who are in need
Care for them who value your care
Because if refused it will be
Hard for you to bear.
Advice then , asked when
Keep no malice
For any kind of prejudice.
Limit your expectation to some
Coz the world has become
Such that htey are ment to be broken
Fulfill your duties
And give what you owe
This is all what I can
Now bestow.

Grievance pacified
Doings rectified
In lonliness I wondered
To whom I was talking to
A Silent Listener
A Soul Cleanser
A Never Failing Friend was HE
And whensoever I asked
'Where art thou'
Soft whisper answered ,
I am forever here to be with thee.
